Door Entry Security for Business Applications

When is the last time you gave some thought to door entry security at your business? If you cannot seem to remember the last time you took a look at the overall security at your retail establishment, then it is time to reconsider the options available. Entry security is the last point of contact for an intruder before they are actually inside of your store, which is why it is so important to make sure that your line of defense for such an occurrence is strong.

One of the best door entry securities comes in the form of an electronic watchdog. When the electronic watchdog senses movement, it will bark angrily, thus deterring the intruder from coming any closer. The barking even gets louder as the intruder takes a step towards your business, and will give you protection without any of the hassle of actually owning a dog.

Alternatively, you could invest in a strobe light that flashes each time it senses motion when it is turned on. The last thing any criminal wants if they are trying to furtively sneak into a building is a bright flashing light, and usually, the strobe lights also mimic the appearance of the lights on an emergency vehicle.

Finally, you could opt to invest in a key entry alarm system. The alarm is going to sound when magnetic contact is made, so if someone tries to use a fake key or other device to open a door while you are inside, you will certainly know immediately. The fake key also has a built-in delay so you can get in and out of the building without worrying if you might unwittingly set it off.
